Descriptions

 

All books are pre-owned and in a condition as individually described in the catalogue but generally not less than Good (G). I have taken great care in describing the content and condition of books, but short inscriptions, bookplates and minor wear may be ignored.

 

Ex-library books will be identified.

 

The following abbreviations have been used:

  • b/w = black and white
  • col = colour(ed)
  • dj = dust jacket
  • ep = end papers
  • fldng = folding
  • F&F = France and Flanders
  • nd = not dated
  • o/w = otherwise
  • sl = slight(ly)

Postage, Packaging and Insurance

  • Postage and Packaging (P&P) costs quoted are based on UK Post Office 1st Class Packet Post rates, and Airmail Printed Paper rates for overseas.
  • P&P for multiple title orders and/or exceptionally heavy volumes will be agreed before payment.
  • Insurance if requested will be charged at cost.
  • For UK customers. I can bring orders to any of the events shown in the calendar thus saving on P&P costs.

 

Payment

 

I accept payment by major credit cards via PayPal or by Sterling cheque made payable to Slade Military Books.  Please allow five working days for cheques to clear.

 

Title

 

Books remain legally the property of the vendor until payment has been discharged in full.

 

Returns

 

Whilst I have made particular effort to describe books accurately, I will accept returns and provide full refund if the books should prove not to be as described in the catalogue and I am notified within seven days of receipt.
