The 7th Hussars fought in many campaigns and battles of the British Army including the wars with France in the 17th and 18thC, Dettigen, Jacobite rebellion, Napoleonic Wars, Waterloo,  Indian Mutiny, Egypt, Sudan, Rhodesia and 2nd Boer War.
