Bruce, C - History of the Duke of Wellington's Regiment (1st and 2nd Battalions) 1881-1923

Medici Society, London, 1927. Large format. 263 pages, index, roll of honour WW1, numerous illustrations and sketch maps. Prior to the First World War the battalions served and fought in South Africa (Boer War, Matabeleland and Mashonaland), Ireland, India and Burma. During WW1 both battalions fought on the Western Front. Handling wear and fading to red cloth boards, corners bumpers and extremeties scuffed, spine sunned by titling legible, no dj, foxing.
